The DNS protocol, responsible for address translation in the Internet, is a rather old protocol, vulnerable to certain security issues, especially when it comes to the part of your connection located between your computer and your ISP.
DNSCrypt (http://www.opendns.com/technology/dnscrypt/) will secure your connection and keep Man-in-the-middle-attacks as well as DNS snooper at bay. Especially people that got blocked from CyberGhost VPN by their ISPs will profit. DNSCrypt does the same as SSL does with normal web traffic. SSL turns HTTP traffic into encrypted HTTP traffic, DNSCrypt turns your DNS traffic into encrypted DNS traffic. The software is available for MAC and Windows. Note though, that DNSCrypt is not offered by CyberGhost VPN. In case you have trouble using the software, please contact its provider.
