This guide shows you how to troubleshoot common streaming issues when using CyberGhost VPN on your iOS device.
To comply with the streaming platform's Terms of Use and CyberGhost Terms of Service, connect to a server location that matches the country where you are currently located.

Reinstall the Streaming App
Offload and Reinstall

Open Settings and tap General.

Tap iPhone Storage.

Find the streaming app you’re experiencing issues with and tap it.

Tap Offload App.
-
Tap Offload App to confirm.

Restart your device and reinstall the app from your Settings.
- Reconnect to a server in a country where you are currently located and try again.
Delete and Reinstall
If you’re still experiencing issues, follow the same steps and delete the app instead. Then reinstall it, reconnect to a server in a country where you are currently located, and try again.
Clear Safari Data
If you're using a streaming service through Safari:

Open Settings > Apps.

Tap Safari.

Select Clear History and Website Data.

Select the timeframe, then tap Clear History.
To remove additional website data:

Open Settings > Apps.

Tap Safari.
-
Tap Advanced.

Tap Website Data.
-
Select Remove All Website Data.
Reconnect to CyberGhost VPN

Open the CyberGhost VPN app. If you’re connected, tap the power button to disconnect from the VPN.

Wait a few seconds. Re-connect to server in the country where you are currently located.
- Once connected, open your streaming platform and try again.
Still Having Issues?
If issues persist after following the steps above, try switching to another server in your current country and restart both the VPN and streaming app.
