No. CyberGhost VPN can’t replace your ISP (internet service provider). You still need an active internet connection from an ISP to use CyberGhost VPN.
CyberGhost VPN works on top of your existing internet connection. Once your device is online, CyberGhost creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the VPN server. This helps protect your traffic and hides your ISP-assigned IP address from the websites and services you visit.
Your ISP can still see that you’re connected to the internet and using a VPN, but it can’t easily see the websites or services you access through the VPN connection. Those websites and services will see the shared CyberGhost IP address of the VPN server instead of your original IP address.
