CyberGhost subscriptions purchased directly from our website are activated automatically, so no activation key is issued. Instead, your subscription is linked to the account you created during purchase, and you can log in with your username and password.
If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, your subscription is linked to your Apple or Google account and is managed through that platform instead of via an activation key.
Activation keys are only provided in specific cases, such as offline purchases (e.g., retail stores), Bitcoin payments, or certain promotional offers. In these cases, you must redeem the activation key manually after creating a CyberGhost account.
Where your activation key is located depends on how you purchased CyberGhost:
- Retail or physical store purchase: The activation key is printed on a physical card or included in the product packaging.
- Bitcoin or offline payments: The activation key is provided after purchase, often in a confirmation message or order receipt.
- Promotional offers: The activation key is provided as part of the promotion (for example, in an email or on a campaign page).
If you purchased online and can’t see your subscription, make sure you’re logged in with the correct account used at the time of purchase. If needed, you can recover your account through the password reset option.
