If you experience streaming service problems while using CyberGhost VPN, follow these first steps to bypass them.
First of all, make sure that you are connected to the dedicated streaming server and that the connection is not leaking any data - DNS, IPv6, and WebRTC are the most common leaks. To make sure your connection is properly configured, check if your status is "Protected" on our website.
Should you be connected to one of our servers but your status is "unprotected", please refer to the following steps to ensure that your connection is secure.
To stop your connection from leaking, follow these tutorials:
1. Disable IPv6
3. Check the steps below for a specific device. After each step, check if the problem is solved - if not, continue to the next step.
Windows, macOS, Linux users
1. Clear your browser's cache if you are streaming via the browser.
2. Reinstall the streaming app if you are using their app.
3. Restart the device.
4. Try to disconnect and reconnect to the dedicated streaming profile and try again.
5. Restart the CyberGhost VPN app.
Android/iOS users
1. If you are using the app for a specific streaming service, force stop it, clear app cache, and reinstall it.
2. Clear cache of your browser/app.
3. Restart your device.
4. Uninstall and reinstall the app that you use for streaming.
5. Try to disconnect and reconnect to the dedicated streaming profile and try again.
Amazon Fire TV users
1. Uninstall and reinstall the app that you use for streaming :
1. Click the Home button, select the Settings option, and from the Settings select Applications menu.
2. In the Applications menu, select Manage Installed Applications.
3. Find the Streaming app and click Force Stop, then hit Clear data and Clear cache options.
4. Go to Settings, select Device, and click Restart and Restart your Fire Stick.

4. Restart the CyberGhost VPN app.
Android TV users
1. Uninstall and reinstall the app that you use for streaming :
1. Go to Settings > APPS > Select the Streaming app > Clear Data and Cache > Click Uninstall
2. Restart the device.
3. Try to disconnect and reconnect to the dedicated streaming profile and try again.
4. Restart the CyberGhost VPN app.
