Check Your Server Location
If you’re experiencing issues streaming Prime Video, make sure you are connected to one of our streaming-optimized servers in your current location.

You can also try switching to a different streaming-optimized server in your current country, if available. After changing the server, reopen Prime Video and check if playback works.
Sign Out and Back In
If streaming still doesn’t work:
- Sign out of your Amazon Prime Video account.
- Close the app or browser completely.
- Reopen Prime Video.
- Sign back in and try streaming again.
Stream in a Web Browser
If you’re using the Prime Video app, try switching to a web browser instead at https://www.primevideo.com
If issues persist in the browser:
- Disconnect and reconnect to a different server in your current country.
- Sign out of your Amazon account and sign back in.
