A Dedicated IP gives you an IP address that only you can use. It can be useful if websites, apps, or networks flag shared VPN IP addresses or require a consistent IP address.
Redeem Your Dedicated IP
You redeem your Dedicated IP through your CyberGhost VPN account in a web browser. You can do this on your iOS device or a computer, whichever you prefer.
- Log in to your CyberGhost VPN account.
- Under Products, select Dedicated IP. Your Dedicated IP token can be redeemed only once, and this section disappears afterward.
- Choose your Dedicated IP location from the list, then select Redeem Token. Your Dedicated IP will be based in the location you choose, and you can’t change it afterward.
- Your token is displayed on screen. Use the icons next to it to copy, download, or print it, then save it somewhere only you can access.
Important: Make sure to save your token before you close or refresh the page. Once you leave the page, the token can’t be recovered.
Add Your Dedicated IP to the iOS App
- Open CyberGhost VPN on your iOS device, then select the gear icon in the top-left corner to open Settings.
- Select the VPN tab, then select Dedicated IP.
- Paste in your token, then select OK.
- Your Dedicated IP is added to the app, along with its expiry date. You can now find your Dedicated IP in the Favorites tab.
