How to Redeem and Activate Your Dedicated IP on Mac

A Dedicated IP gives you an IP address that only you use. This can reduce issues with services that flag shared VPN IP addresses or require a consistent IP address.

Redeem Your Dedicated IP

1. Log in to your CyberGhost VPN account.

2. Under Products, select Dedicated IP. Your Dedicated IP token can be redeemed only once, and this section disappears afterward.

3. Choose your Dedicated IP location from the list, then select Redeem Token. Your Dedicated IP will be based in the location you choose, and you can’t change it afterward.

4. Your token is displayed on screen. Use the icons next to it to copy, download, or print it, then save it somewhere only you can access.

Important: Save your token before you close or refresh the page. Once you leave the page, the token can’t be recovered.

Add Your Dedicated IP to the App

1. Open CyberGhost VPN, and expand the menu by clicking the arrow button.

2. Select the Dedicated IP section. Open the downloaded token file and copy the token. Paste it into the field, then select Activate.

3. Your Dedicated IP is added to the app, along with its expiry date. You can now find your Dedicated IP in the Favorites tab.
