How to Redeem and Activate Your Dedicated IP on Windows

A Dedicated IP gives you an IP address that only you use. It may help resolve issues when you access websites or apps that flag shared VPN IP addresses or require the use of a consistent IP address.

Redeem Your Dedicated IP

  1. Sign in to your CyberGhost VPN account dashboard.

  1. Select Dedicated IP from the left-hand menu.

  1. Click I acknowledge, I want to pick my location to proceed. You can only redeem your Dedicated IP token once, and this section will disappear afterwards.

  1. Select your desired Dedicated IP location, then click Redeem Token. Please note that your Dedicated IP will be based on the location you choose, and you won’t be able to change it later.

  1. Your Dedicated IP token will now be shown on the screen. Use the icons next to it to copy, download, or print it, then save it somewhere safe. 

Important: Save your token before you close this page. Once you leave the page, you will not be able to recover the token. 

Add Your Dedicated IP to the App

  1. Open the CyberGhost VPN Windows app and click Activate on the green Dedicated IP prompt.

  1. Enter your Dedicated IP token and click Activate.

  1. If successful, you'll see a message saying the Dedicated IP will be automatically added to the app. The message also includes the Dedicated IP’s expiry date. Click OK to close the popup.

  1. You can now connect to the Dedicated IP server from the Dedicated IP tab.
