This guide explains how to purchase a CyberGhost VPN subscription.

You can order CyberGhost VPN directly from the CyberGhost homepage or via in-app purchase on your iOS, Android, or Amazon device.

Step 1: Go to the Pricing Page

Visit CyberGhost’s pricing page and compare the available plans and offers. CyberGhost offers 3 options: a monthly plan, a 6-month plan, and a 2-year introductory offer (renews annually after the initial period).

For monthly plans, the money-back guarantee is 14 days. The other options come with a 45-day money-back guarantee.

Step 2: Select Your Deal and Add-Ons

Check the box next to your preferred option.

Before completing your order, you'll also have the option to add a Dedicated IP to your subscription for an extra cost. A Dedicated IP gives you a static IP address that is exclusively yours. This is useful if you want to avoid CAPTCHA prompts caused by shared IP traffic, or you regularly need to use services from the same location each time, like banking apps or school resources.

If you want to add it to your plan, tick the box next to it.

Then, scroll down and select Continue to Checkout.

Note: Some special conditions (such as discounts or additional months) apply only to the first payment and first period. Renewal costs and service duration will be clearly disclosed at checkout.

Step 3: Select a Payment Method

On the checkout page:

  1. Choose a payment method. You can pay with a credit or debit card, PayPal, or Bitcoin.

  1. Enter a valid email address. This will be used for your payment confirmation, invoice, and account credentials and will be tied to your CyberGhost account.

  1. Once you provide the necessary information for your payment method, review the terms, and confirm by clicking Subscribe with [payment method of your choice]. All autorenewal terms and costs are clearly explained at this step.

  1. Once you’ve signed up, check your email for your account details.

If You’re an Existing Customer 

If you have an existing CyberGhost account, you can renew, upgrade, or extend your subscription through that account.

To do that, visit the Online Account Management page and log in.

If Your Subscription Has Expired

  1. In the Overview tab, choose a deal, and select Renew Now.

  1. You’ll be taken to the checkout page. Choose a payment method, review the terms, and confirm your purchase.

If Your Subscription Is Still Active

  1. Select Change plan.

  1. Pick the plan to renew or extend your subscription and select Continue to Checkout.

  1. Choose a payment method, review the terms, and confirm your purchase.

How to Purchase CyberGhost In-App

You can also purchase a CyberGhost VPN subscription via in-app purchase on iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire devices. 

iOS (App Store)

Note: Subscriptions purchased as an in-app purchase via the App Store are excluded from our CyberGhost VPN’s money-back guarantee. Instead, you will need to request a refund through the App Store, which is issued solely at the discretion of Apple Support.

  1. In the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for “CyberGhost VPN.” Tap Get to download and install the app.

  1. Open the app, and on the welcome screen, tap Continue.

  1. Next, select your privacy preferences and tap Confirm Selection or Accept All.

  1. On the next screen, tap the Subscribe button for the subscription you prefer.

  1. Confirm your purchase using your Apple ID and Face ID or Touch ID.

  1. Follow the instructions to set up a CyberGhost account on iOS.

If you had a CyberGhost subscription before that has since expired 

You don’t need to create a new account.

  • For users whose previous subscription was bought via the App Store: On the subscription screen, select Recover purchases and follow the instructions.

  • For users whose previous subscription was bought via CyberGhost: On the subscription screen, select I already have an account and then log into your account. You’ll then be prompted to purchase a subscription.

Android (Google Play)

  1. In the Google Play Store, search for “CyberGhost VPN” and tap Install to download the app.

  1. Open the app, and on the welcome screen, tap Continue.

  1. Next, tap the Subscribe button for the subscription you prefer.

  1. Create a CyberGhost account by entering your email and a password.

  1. Follow the instructions to set up your CyberGhost account on Android.

If you had a CyberGhost subscription before that has since expired 

You don’t need to create a new account. On the subscription screen, select Existing user?

  • If your subscription was bought via Google Play: Select Recover purchases and follow the instructions.

Amazon (Amazon Appstore)

  1. On your Fire Stick or Fire TV home screen, go to Find and select Search.
  2. Type “CyberGhost VPN” and select it from the results.
  3. Click Get to download and install the app.
  4. Open the app and follow the instructions to purchase a subscription.
