The CyberGhost VPN CLI app for Linux includes streaming-optimized servers. These are designed to improve connection stability for supported streaming services.
To comply with the streaming platform's Terms of Use and CyberGhost Terms of Service, you should connect to a server location that matches the country where you’re currently located.

View Streaming-Optimized Servers
To view the list of available streaming-optimized servers, open the Terminal app.
Type the command below to view the available streaming servers and supported regions:
cyberghostvpn --streaming --country-code

Connect to a Streaming-Optimized Server
After deciding on a server location, open Terminal.
Type the following command to connect to a streaming-optimized server:
sudo cyberghostvpn --streaming "<service_name>" --country-code <country_code> --connect
Note: Replace <service_name> with your streaming service and <country_code> with your place of residence.
The terminal will notify you if the connection was successful.
Troubleshooting
If you experience buffering, slow playback, or unstable streams, try reconnecting or selecting a different streaming-optimized server in the same region. Also, make sure that the typed streaming service name matches what’s listed above. Also, if a service name contains spaces, it must be enclosed in quotation marks.
