Any CyberGhost customer with an active subscription can refer friends and earn rewards through the program.

How does it work?

Step 1

Open the Refer a Friend page. If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to enter your credentials. Remember: you need to have a CyberGhost account and an active subscription to make use of the Refer a Friend offer.

Step 2

Once logged in, you’ll see 3 buttons labelled Create invitation. Click one of them.

The next window provides you with a unique link that you can copy and share with your friend. Click Copy and share the link with your friend. Just remember that only one person can use this specific link. You can then repeat the process twice more with the other Create invitation buttons.

Step 3

If your friend clicks the link, they’ll be redirected to a special landing page, where they can choose between different subscription types. Once they’ve purchased and paid for a CyberGhost subscription, you’ll get your 30 additional free days on top of your current subscription.

How can I cancel an invitation already sent?

You can cancel a pending invitation from the Refer a Friend page. Locate the invitation you want to withdraw and click Revoke Invitation beneath the referral link. Once revoked, the invitation link will no longer be valid.

What happens if I delete a link before my friend purchased it?

If you revoke a referral link before your friend makes a purchase, the invitation is cancelled and the link can no longer be used. Your friend won’t be able to sign up through that referral, and no bonus days will be awarded for that invitation.

What happens if a friend tries to use a link that has already been used?

If you share a referral link publicly (for example, on social media), only the first eligible friend who signs up and completes a purchase will qualify for the reward. Any subsequent attempts to use the same link won’t generate additional bonus days.
