Configure My Smart DNS for Nintendo Wii

Through to the Account Dashboard - Smart DNS needs to be enabled.

Completing the only requirement as described above, now head over to your Nintendo Wii. The below steps are presented for you which will help you apply the CyberGhost SmartDNS via Nintendo Wii:

Step 1 of 10: From the main menu of your Nintendo Wii – choose Wii Settings

Step 2 of 10: Pick Internet Options. and press the right arrow on your Wii remote and choose Internet

Step 3 of 10: Select Connection Settings and pick the Wi-Fi or Wired connection that is used by your Wii

Step 4 of 10: Choose Change Settings and pick the Active connection used by your Wii (Wi-Fi or cable)

Step 5 of 10: Browse right on your Wii remote from Type of Security* towards Auto-Obtain IP Address
*No changes need to be made at this stage.

Step 6 of 10: Press No when asked to Auto-Obtain IP address and choose Advanced Settings:

• Primary DNS: Use the DNS provided to you in the Account Dashboard under My SmartDNS
• Secondary DNS: leave blank
  

Step 7 of 10: Press Confirm

Step 8 of 10: Choose Save

Step 9 of 10: Connection test will run automatically and it's recommended to allow the test to finalize

Step 10 of 10: Restart your Nintendo Wii

Note: Upon implementing the DNS and associating the DNS with your IP address - should your IP address change, your IP address needs to be linked(activated) again in the Account Dashboard but the DNS does not need to be changed.
