Configure Smart DNS on Your LG Smart TV
Enable Smart DNS
Before you begin, you need to enable Smart DNS in your CyberGhost VPN account to get the Smart DNS server addresses.
- Visit the CyberGhost account dashboard.

Select Smart DNS from the left-hand menu and choose Enable Smart DNS.
- Under DNS Addresses for TV, you’ll see a list of smart DNS server addresses. Make a note of the one you want to use.
Once you’ve completed these steps, follow the subsequent instructions directly from your LG smart TV.
Configure Smart DNS on Your LG Smart TV
- From the remote control for your LG TV, press the Home/Smart button to bring up the Launcher bar, and select the Settings icon.

Note that the Home/Smart button may vary from one remote control to another: on some remote controls, the button will have the Home logo, while on others, it will show the Settings logo.

From Settings, choose General > Network.

Select Wi-Fi Connection.

Choose Advanced Settings.

Make sure that IPv6 is toggled off.

Choose Edit.

Uncheck Set Automatically.

In the same menu, choose DNS Server.

Input the respective DNS address you want to use from the CyberGhost account dashboard.
- IP Address: Leave unchanged
- Subnet Mask: Leave unchanged
- Gateway: Leave unchanged

Confirm by selecting Connect.
Note: Restarting the LG TV can help to save the changes you’ve made.
