Through to the Account Dashboard - Smart DNS needs to be enabled. Once this one-click step has been accomplished the next steps are completed directly from your LG smart TV.
Completing the only requirement as described above, head over to your LG smart TV. The below steps are presented for you which will help you apply the CyberGhost Smart DNS to your LG smart TV:
Step 1 of 8: From the remote control for your LG TV - press the Home/Smart *to bring up the Launcher bar.
*the placement of the Home/Smart button may vary from one remote controller to another;
a. For some remote controllers, the button will have the Home logo
b. For other remote controllers, the same button will have the Settings logo
Step 2 of 8: Choose Settings from the list of choices and select: Network.
Step 3 of 8: Select the Wi-Fi Connection. The Wi-Fi that is used by the LG TV should have a checkmark.
Step 4 of 8: Choose the Wi-Fi connection that your TV is using and choose Advanced Wi-Fi Settings.
Step 5 of 8: Make sure that IPv6 is disabled(OFF) and choose Edit for the respective Wi-Fi.
Step 6 of 8: Un-Check(disable) "Set Automatically".
Step 7 of 8: In DNS Server - input the respective DNS address listed in the CyberGhost Account Dashboard - DNS address which pertains to the program that you wish to unblock.
- IP address - Leave unchanged
- Subnet Mask - Leave unchanged
- Gateway - Leave unchanged
Step 8 of 8: Confirm with Connect.
Note: While it may not be mandatory, restarting the LG TV can help to save the changes that are made.
