Before Streaming
Before using a streaming service with the VPN, you will need:
- An active CyberGhost subscription.
- CyberGhost app installed on your Android TV.
Depending on the streaming service, you may also need an account with the platform provider. Some platforms may require the account to be registered in the same region you’re connecting to.
Connect to a VPN Server
- Once you’ve installed and logged into your CyberGhost account, click the large ON icon to connect to the fastest local server.
- Alternatively, you can use streaming-optimized servers. To start using them, select the Best Location option.
- On the next screen, select the Streaming tab.
- Choose a streaming server for your location and desired streaming service.
To help comply with applicable streaming platform terms and CyberGhost VPN's Terms of Service, you should connect to a server location that matches the country where you are currently located.
- Once connected, the app will redirect you to the main dashboard.
