What Is WireGuard®?

WireGuard® is a VPN protocol available in the CyberGhost VPN app. It’s designed to provide fast connection speeds while maintaining strong security.

CyberGhost VPN also supports other VPN protocols, such as OpenVPN and IKEv2. If you're experiencing connection or performance issues, switching to WireGuard® may improve your connectivity.

How to Use WireGuard® on iOS

  1. Open the CyberGhost VPN app and tap settings (cog icon).

  2. Tap VPN > Protocol.

  3. Select WireGuard®. The app will update your protocol automatically.

  4. Tap Done to return to the home screen and connect to a server.
