CyberGhost VPN Privacy Settings on Windows

Privacy settings are additional features you can enable to customize your CyberGhost VPN experience.

This article will show you how to access these settings on Windows and explain what each setting does.

To access Privacy Settings:

1. Launch the CyberGhost VPN app and click the expand button.

2. Select the CyberGhost VPN icon on the sidebar.

3. Click Privacy Settings.

On the Privacy Settings page, there are three features you can toggle on or off.

Here’s what each setting does:

• Block content: Blocks known advertising, tracking, and malicious domains to help create a safer and more private browsing experience.
• Prevent DNS leaks: Routes DNS requests through CyberGhost's secure DNS servers to help prevent your browsing activity from being exposed to your internet provider or other third parties.
• Automatic Kill-Switch: Automatically disconnects you from the internet if the VPN connection drops unexpectedly. This helps prevent accidental data leaks.
