This is how you configure your Windows Firewall in case you suspect it blocks CyberGhost from working correctly :
1. Add the following 6 rules in your Windows firewall :
3 outbound rules
- 'CyberGhost.exe' (available in the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\programs\CyberGhost).

'CyberGhost.Service.exe' (available in the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\Program Files\CyberGhost )
- 'OpenVPN.exe' (available in a sub-folder of the the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\programs\CyberGhost\Data\OpenVPN)
3 inbound rules
- 'CyberGhost.exe' (available in the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\programs\CyberGhost).

'CyberGhost.Service.exe' (available in the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\Program Files\CyberGhost )
- 'OpenVPN.exe' (available in a sub-folder of the the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\programs\CyberGhost\Data\OpenVPN)

2. If you are using another third-party firewall or antivirus software, create a rule for CyberGhost in the application's settings.
Make sure you put these files in the exception list of your Firewall / Antivirus:

CyberGhost.exe (available in the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\Program Files\CyberGhost ).

OpenVPN.exe (available in a sub-folder of the CyberGhost VPN program directory: C:\Program Files\CyberGhost\Data\OpenVPN)
