CyberGhost VPN requires .NET Framework 4.8 or later. Before you repair or update the .NET Framework, make sure your Windows device is up-to-date and you know what version of the .NET Framework you’re currently running. You can also consult the Windows Update Troubleshooting Guide here.
Check .NET Framework Version
-
Go to This PC and open Local Disk (C:).
-
Open the Windows folder.
-
Open the Microsoft.NET folder. You may need to scroll down to find it.
-
Open the Framework folder.
-
Open the highest version folder.
-
Right-click the Accessibility.dll file in the folder and select Properties.
-
Go to the Details tab and check the File version entry. That will show the .NET Framework version you have installed.
If your version number is below the CyberGhost VPN minimum, update .NET Framework. If you’re up-to-date, you should try repairing it.
