1. Enable APK Installation on Your Android Device
Before downloading the file, you must enable APK installations. Android disables this feature by default as a security measure against potentially malicious apps.
Huawei and Honor
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Select More settings.
- Tap Install apps from external sources.
- Find your browser in the app list. Open the menu and enable Allow app installs.
Samsung
- Go to Settings.
- Open Apps.
- Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.
- Select Special access.
- Select Install unknown apps.
- Find your browser and toggle the button on.
You can now download the APK file.
Xiaomi
- Go to Settings > Privacy.
- Open Special permission.
- Select Install unknown apps.
- Select your browser and enable Allow from this source.
- Tap OK to confirm. If prompted, check “I’m aware of the possible risks” first.
2. Download the CyberGhost VPN APK file
Contact our Support Team to request the latest APK version and download the file. Then follow these steps.
- From your phone’s Downloads folder, tap the APK file, then tap Allow in the new pop-up menu.
- Tap the Install button.
- Once installed, tap Open.
After installing CyberGhost VPN, consider disabling APK installations to keep your device safe from unreliable third-party apps.
