Download and Install
1. Open the Play Store app.
- Look up CyberGhost and tap the Install button next to the app.
Log in to the App
When you first open the app, you’ll see a notice asking for your consent to share limited, anonymized data. This is only for troubleshooting connections and improving services. We don’t collect your source IP address, browsing history, or VPN traffic. Your browsing stays private.
1. Read the notification and select Accept to continue.
- If you’re already subscribed, tap Existing user? Otherwise, select one of the Subscribe options (see how to subscribe to CyberGhost VPN for more details).
- Once your account is set up, enter your username and password, then tap Login.
Tap OK to confirm VPN settings if prompted.
- Allow Location permission to let CyberGhost VPN apply automatic Wi-Fi protection. Otherwise, you can skip if you prefer to connect the VPN manually.
Connect to a VPN Server
Follow these simple steps to connect to a server:
- Tap the power button on the home screen. It will automatically connect you to the best server available based on your current location.
If successful, the status will change to Connected. You’ll also see your new IP address, the amount of data transferred, and the protocol used.
- To disconnect from the server, just tap the power button again.
