This guide shows you how to disable IPv6 on an ASUS router.
Note: The steps below are based on the ASUS RT-AX88U router and may vary slightly depending on your ASUS router model. If you can’t find the IPv6 settings on your device, consult your router manual or contact ASUS Support.
- Open a web browser and enter your router login address in the address bar. The default address is usually http://192.168.1.1. If you changed the LAN IP address, use the custom address instead.
Sign into your ASUS router dashboard. In the left-side menu, go to Advanced Settings > IPv6.
In the IPv6 page, select Disable and click Apply.
