How to Disable IPv6 on Your ASUS Router

This guide shows you how to disable IPv6 on an ASUS router.

Note: The steps below are based on the ASUS RT-AX88U router and may vary slightly depending on your ASUS router model. If you can’t find the IPv6 settings on your device, consult your router manual or contact ASUS Support.

1. Open a web browser and enter your router login address in the address bar. The default address is usually http://192.168.1.1. If you changed the LAN IP address, use the custom address instead.
    

2. Sign into your ASUS router dashboard. In the left-side menu, go to Advanced Settings > IPv6.

3. In the IPv6 page, select Disable and click Apply.
