This guide will show you how to set up CyberGhost VPN on an iOS device. You need an iOS device running iOS 15 or later and an active CyberGhost VPN subscription to start using the app. If you’re not yet a Ghostie, learn how to purchase a CyberGhost subscription here.

Download and Install CyberGhost VPN
1. Open the App Store and search for “CyberGhost VPN.”
2. Tap Get or the cloud icon. The app will download automatically to your device.
Log Into the App
1. Find the CyberGhost VPN app on your home screen and tap to open it.
2. On the privacy screen, tap Accept, Reject, or Customize.
3. Tap I already have an account to log in.
4. Enter your email address and password and tap Log in.
5. On the notifications screen, tap Allow notifications.
6. You’ll see a notification pop-up. Choose whether to allow notifications.
7. On the configurations screen, tap Ok.
8. Tap Allow to add VPN configurations.
9. Your device will automatically add CyberGhost VPN as a configuration in your settings, though it may ask you to enter your passcode first. It’ll then reopen the app.
Connect to a VPN Server
1. Open the CyberGhost VPN app and tap the power button. The app automatically selects the best server available based on your current location.
- If you want to connect to a specific server location, follow this guide.
2. Once connected, the power button should highlight yellow and show you the server location and IP address.
3. To disconnect, press the power button. It should say Not Protected.
