Neagent is short for 'Network Extension Agent' and makes it easy to connect your Mac to our VPN servers. Since our VPN application for Mac uses the IKEv2/IPSec VPN protocol, allowing the agent to access the Keychain is a necessary step in creating a secure VPN connection.
Before you can log in, the neagent has to receive the VPN authentication data stored in the Keychain Password Management System of your Mac. Clicking "Deny" will cause the neagent to fail to connect to the Keychain and you will not be able to establish a VPN connection.
Selecting Allow will only apply to your current session. You will need to re-authorize the neagent the next time you attempt to connect to a VPN server.
If you click Always Allow, the app will automatically access Keychain each time you log in, and you will not need to give the neagent permission upon each connection.
