When you connect to CyberGhost VPN using the IKEv2 protocol, you may see a "VPN Connection” prompt, asking you to “Please enter your authentication information."
To resolve it, you need to delete the CyberGhost VPN configuration and set it up again. Here’s how to do that:
Step 1: Delete the Existing VPN Configuration
- Go to System Settings > VPN.

Find the CyberGhost VPN configuration and select the info icon (i) next to it.

Select Remove Configuration, then confirm.
- Restart your Mac.
Step 2: Reconnect and Restore the Configuration
- Open CyberGhost VPN and connect to it.

The app will prompt you to add the VPN configuration back. Select Allow and you’ll be connected to the VPN.
